Home Remedies to Get Rid of Open Pores on the Skin

Open pores on the skin resemble little pits and because of these wide pores on your face, it seems dull and old. Many people seek to get rid of their open pores for this reason. Due to their high sebum production, mostly people with oily skin are prone to this problem. Open pores can lead to blackheads and acne, which can detract from your appearance. A multitude of reasons, including genetics, poor skincare, and stress, can cause them. Also, your skin loses elasticity as you get older, worsening the problem.

There are a variety of ways to minimise the appearance of skin pores. Scroll down to discover how to seal open pores using home treatments.

  • Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe vera helps to decrease big pores on the face by moisturising it. The gel cleanses and nourishes the skin while also clearing blocked pores of oil and debris.

Massage the aloe vera gel on the pores for a few minutes. Allow it for 10 minutes to get absorbed into your skin. After that, give it a good rinse with cold and clean water. Applying aloe vera gel to your pores on a daily basis will quickly reduce their size.

  • Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is said to cleanse the skin and reduce pore size. It tightens your skin and works as a toner. It also helps to minimise inflammation.

Every day, use apple cider vinegar as a skin toner. Combine one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and one tablespoon of water. Put the vinegar on the face using a cotton ball dipped in it. Allow it to air dry.

  • Papaya

Papaya is good for toning and constricting pores. It removes pollutants and unclogs pores to fully purify the skin.

Mash some slices of ripe papaya and massage them on the face. Allow it to sit for 20 minutes before washing it off. Repeat this cure every alternate day.

  • Baking Soda

Baking soda contains antibacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities that aid in the treatment of acne and pimples. It assists in the elimination of dead skin cells, dirt, and other impurities from the skin. Baking soda stabilizes the pH of the skin by regulating its concentration.

Mix two teaspoons of baking soda with two tablespoons of warm water to make a paste. Apply the paste to the pores and gently massage for 30 seconds in circular movements. Using cool water, rinse it thoroughly. This treatment should be used every three to four days of gap.

  • Banana

The antioxidant lutein and the mineral potassium in the banana peel help to repair and renew the skin by minimizing the open pores.

Take one banana peel. Using the under layer of the banana peel, gently rub it to your face. Then, wash it after 10 to 15 minutes. Follow this practice every other day.

Don’t let your wide, open pores deter you! They are only a blip on the radar. Implement these home treatments as part of your skincare regimen to keep your pores protected from becoming enlarged and blocked.
