Cleansing, Toning, Moisturising Routine for all Skin Types

 

Knowing the skin type is the basis of regular skin care, so that you can select the products according to the individual needs of your skin. Skin types fall into four major categories – normal, dry, oily and combination. There are also exaggerated versions of these major skin types, like dehydrated skin, sensitive skin, problem skin with pimples, rash or acne, ageing skin or hydrated skin.

The daily facial treatment should include Cleansing (including Exfoliation) Toning and Moisturising. Sunscreen should also be considered. 

A normal to dry skin lacks both oil and moisture. Cleanse the skin morning and night with Shacleanse cleansing gel, applying it on the face and wiping off with moist cotton wool. After cleansing in the morning, use Sharose Plus to tone the skin. Wipe the face with it, using cotton wool. You can also pat the skin briskly. Toning helps to improve blood circulation to the skin surface.

Then apply Total Care All Day Long Sun block SPF 25 or 40 if you are going out in the sun. Or, mix Shabase with Shamoist Plus and apply on the face for a daytime moisturised cover. Leave on. Once a week, use Shascrub to exfoliate and deep cleanse the skin.

For normal to oily skin daily treatment should include cleansing and deep pore cleansing (i.e. exfoliation with a scrub or cleansing grains), toning and moisturisation. If there are pimples, acne or rash, avoid using scrubs on them. In the morning, wash face with Tulsi Neem FaceWashor Shamoon Plus. After cleansing tone with Sharose Plus, wiping the skin with it, using cotton wool. If there are blackheads, mix Shagrain with Sharose and apply on the areas. Rub gently with small circular strokes and wash off with water. Then mix Shabase with Shasilk Plus and apply for the day. Or, apply Total Care All Day Long Sunscreen Gel SPF 20 if you are going out in the sun. Twice a week, use Shascrub. At night, cleanse the same way.

For combination skin, cleanse with Shamoon Plus sandalwood cleansing milk. Tone with Sharose Plus, as mentioned. Then apply Total Care All Day Long Sun block SPF 25 if going out in the sun, or mix Shabase with Shataj Plus and apply on the face. Leave on for the day. Once or twice a week, use Shascrub.
